Event Highlights

On October 7, 2025, Taipei Medical University (TMU) hosted its first career fair exclusively designed for international students, aiming to help international talent better understand Taiwan’s labor market and expand post-graduation employment opportunities in Taiwan.

The event was held at the iCollege on the first floor of the Xing-Chun Building and conducted bilingually (Mandarin and English). More than 90% of participating companies came from the healthcare and medical-related industries, collectively offering over 30 job openings. The career fair attracted over 200 registered international job seekers and successfully facilitated more than 300 on-site interviews. Student participation was enthusiastic, creating a vibrant and highly interactive atmosphere.

Feedback from Employers and International Talent

Many participating companies noted that the international job seekers demonstrated strong professional competence and proactive attitudes. Over 70% of employers reported a positive overall impression and expressed willingness to continue offering internship and employment opportunities to international talent in the future. Employer feedback also highlighted expectations that international students further strengthen their Mandarin language proficiency to enhance competitiveness in Taiwan’s job market, providing clear and constructive guidance for future job seekers.

From the international talent perspective, over 90% of participants expressed satisfaction with the overall event and agreed that it was highly beneficial to their career development. Students also shared hopes for future career fairs to include an even broader range of industries, such as biotechnology, nursing, long-term care, and technology sectors.

Future Outlook
The 2025 TMU International Talent Career Fair concluded successfully. The Office of Global Engagement (OGE) will draw on insights gained from this event to continuously refine and enhance future career-related activities.

OGE will continue to organize various career development programs and workshops to support international students in exploring career pathways and planning their futures in Taiwan. TMU looks forward to supporting all students as they transition smoothly into the workforce and demonstrate their professional strengths.
