The 2026 New Southbound Policy Elite Study Program at TMU is designed for individuals who are considering further studies and career development in the healthcare field while earning transferable academic credits.

Medicine-related courses and/or laboratory training (11 hour/week)
Mandarin courses (6 hour/week)
Cultural activities

ELIGIBILITY

Citizens of Australia, Bangladesh, Brunei, Bhutan, India, Indonesia, Myanmar, Nepal, New Zealand, the Philippines, Singapore, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam
A strong background in biological science, Healthcare, laboratory work, or data analysis
Open to applicants aged 20 or above who are currently enrolled in, or have graduated from, an accredited college or university.
English Proficiency:
- NEW TOEIC: 785
- IELTS: 5.5
- TOEFL iBT: 72
- TOEFL ITP: 543
- PTE: 50
A financial statement showing a minimum balance of USD 1,000
This program is open to international students who are not receiving any form of financial aid or academic support from the Taiwanese government, related agencies, or educational institutions

All courses and activities are mandatory. Failure to attend will result in termination from the program and full repayment of the subsidy received.
