A Welcome Letter from President of Taipei Medical University
Dear new international students for academic year 2020/2021,
Earlier this week Taiwan’s Ministry of Education announced the relaxation on international student entry to Taiwan. Colleagues at Taipei Medical University are working relentlessly to ensure that each and every student required to meet the entry and quarantine requirements is assisted as appropriate.
You will also have heard from our Offices of Global Engagement and Academic Affairs about procedures for arrival and registration, which I would like to urge you to read carefully and follow accordingly to minimize the inconvenience you might encounter.
While the university is geared up towards welcoming you on the TMU campus, special subsidies have been set aside to support students who have completed the entry and quarantine procedures in time for the fall semester in academic year 2020/2021.
TMU is committed to helping you explore the many opportunities that you will have access to while studying and living in Taiwan. I wish you a smooth arrival at Taipei, and I look forward to greeting you in person soon.
Sincerely,
Eric Chien-Huang Lin, Ph.D.
President of Taipei Medical University
