[Important Note]
(1) Foreign nationals entering the ROC with a residence visa must apply for an Alien Resident Certificate (ARC) within thirty (30) days from the day following their entry into the ROC.

(2) Extension is available 3 months prior to expiry date.
(3) Those who over-stayed 29 days or less will not lose residency after paying for the penalty. Penalty ：NTD10,000-20,000.
(4) Those who over-stayed for 30 days or more should leave the country after paying for the penalty. ARC will be revoked. Penalty ：NTD30,000-50,000.
(5) Resident Address Change should be reported within 30 days from the date of fact. Delaying of report, will receive penalty for NTD2,000-10,000.
