ABOUT

The Mandarin Language Course is an integral component of the TMU Experience Program at Taipei Medical University, designed to help international students develop their Mandarin language skills. Tailored to meet the diverse needs of learners—ranging from beginners to advanced levels—the course emphasizes practical communication skills for everyday life, academic settings, and professional contexts. Additionally, it deepens students’ understanding of Taiwanese culture, enriching their overall learning experience.

Course Note: Restricted to foreign graduate students.
Target Audience: Suitable for beginners to lower-intermediate level Chinese learners.

- The number of auditors is limited to a maximum of
- Auditors must complete their application before the third week of the Mid-semester applications for new auditors will not be accepted.
- Interested applicants should email the Language Center’s official mailbox (lc@tmu.edu.tw) along with an approval letter from their program hosting PI by Friday, September 27th, 2024. The Language Center will provide an online application form. If courses are full, students will be notified via email.
Period
- The entire semester is open for auditing. Auditors are expected to actively participate in class activities and adhere to course regulations.
Note: If you fall behind due to absences, the instructor will not provide individual tutoring during class to uphold the rights of other students.
Fees and charges
Fees and charges are based on courses and events selected by the student.
