News from the Lancet—Taipei Medical University’s prestigious haematologist invited to give comments

Very recently, Professor Thierry Burnouf, Vice Dean of College of Biomedical Engineering, Taipei Medical University, Taiwan, a prestigious haematologist, was invited to comment on the latest study about the global need and availability of blood products.


According to him, “Comprehensive strategies, through national and regional commitment, international cooperation, and transfer of technologies to blood establishments, can help fill the gap and strengthen local blood systems so that patient access to life-saving blood therapies gradually improves.”
