Get into the holiday spirit with TMU’s exciting Christmas Card Exchange!
This game is a fun way to connect with fellow students and staff across our campus and compete for festive prizes.
Join the Game
Start by scanning the QR code to add the official OGE Line account as a friend. After adding the account, register through the Line account to officially join the game.
*November 22** is the last day to register and pick up your starter pack.
Pick Up Your Starter Pack
Once registered, you can pick up your Christmas sweetie and starter set of 13 random game cards at either of these locations:
- Office of Global Engagement at Xinyi Campus: Monday to Friday, 9 a.m. – noon and 1:30 p.m. – 5 p.m.
- United Administrative Office at SHH Campus:
- November 13-14: 10 – 11 a.m.
- Student Counseling Center at SHH Campus:
- November 14, 21: Noon – 1 p.m.
- November 19, 21: 9a.m. – Noon
Your starter set includes cards numbered from 1 to 13, though you may receive duplicates.
The goal? Collect a full set of unique cards from 1 to 13.
Special Joker Card
Some lucky players might receive a Joker card. The Joker acts as a wildcard and can substitute for any missing number in your collection.
Card Exchange
Have duplicate cards? Exchange them with others in the TMU community, including international and domestic students, faculty, and staff.
Here’s how to connect for trades:
At each pop-up point, you’ll find an official exchange coordinator. You may exchange only one card with this person, but you’re free to swap as many cards as you like with other players!
Meet & Greet
Say hello to other TMU members and swap cards.
Pop-up Exchange Points
Look out for pop-up meeting points announced on Line, where you can exchange cards.
Administrative Offices
Certain offices will be open for exchanges as well.
Prizes for the Collectors
If all prizes are claimed before November 29, the game will end early.
Prizes
The first 60 participants to complete their card sets (1–13) will win prizes, awarded in order of completion:
- 1st to 8th Place: Festive Advent Calendar
- 9th to 18th Place: Holiday Cookie Tin
- 19th to 28th Place: TMU Foldable/Golf Umbrella
- 29st to 38th Place: TMU Laptop Carry Bag
- 39st to 48th Place: TMU Leather Notebook
- 49st to 68th Place: TMU One World Keychain Easy Card
Important Dates
November 22, 2024 @ 5p.m.: Last day to register and pick up your starter pack.
November 29, 2024 @ 5p.m.: Final day to redeem your prize at the OGE office (unless prizes are claimed earlier).
Claiming Your Prize
To claim your prize, bring your full card set (1-13) and TMU ID to the OGE office at the Xinyi campus. No holds or reservations – prizes are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis!
Prize Collection Rule for SHH Campus Participants
If you’re unable to visit Xinyi Campus to pick up your prize, don’t worry—just follow these steps to secure your prize selection:
- Verify Your Set: Take a clear photo of your complete card set (1 to 13).
- Email Confirmation: Email the photo to the International Students Section at iss@tmu.edu.tw. We’ll reply with a list of available prizes for you to choose from.
- Reserve Your Prize: After selecting your prize, we’ll reserve it for you for 3 days.
- Submit Your Card Set:
- Pack your complete card set along with:
- Your name and TMU ID #
- A pre-filled shipping label that includes:
- Your name
- Department
- TMU email address
This will help campus delivery easily identify you and direct your package correctly.
- Address it to: International Students Section, Office of Global Engagement.
- Drop off your package at the Campus Delivery Service Center (Administration Center, 4F, 7-11 building, SHH Campus).
- Pack your complete card set along with:
- Receive Your Prize: Once we receive and verify your set, your prize will be sent to you via campus delivery service.
Note: If the prize is too large for campus delivery, we’ll hold it at the Office of Global Engagement on Xinyi Campus. Please stop by when you’re available to pick it up.
Alternative Collection Option:
If you are unable to come to Xinyi Campus, you may authorize someone else to pick up your prize on your behalf. The authorized person must present your TMU ID card to collect the prize.
