OGE hosted Working and Living in Taiwan for Foreign Students workshop on March 4th, 2025.
On March 4th, 2025, the Office of Global Engagement (OGE) invited experts from Talent Taiwan to share insights on building a career and life in Taiwan. The session covered key topics such as the points system, work permits, residency extensions after graduation, the Employment Gold Card, and permanent residency options.
Talent Taiwan is a service center dedicated to support international talents explore their opportunities in Taiwan. They provide a wide range of information and resources, including education, employment, housing, and more.
During the session, speakers explained the steps students need to take in advance to secure legal work status and long-term residency after graduation. Attendees also learned how to access official consultation services for further assistance. The event, which attracted a diverse audience, aimed to empower international students with the knowledge and resources of post-graduation opportunities in Taiwan.
