Purpose of the visit To promote short-term exchange programs at TMU

Maintaining and expanding relationships with international universities

Enhancing the international reputation of the university

Details of the Event The 2023 Asia-Pacific Association for International Education (APAIE) was held from March 13-17 at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Center in Bangkok. A total of 32 Taiwanese universities participated, and the Office of Global Engagement of Taipei Medical University(TMU) attended the conference on behalf of the university.

During the conference, Office of Global Engagement of TMU met with over 30 world-renowned universities, The main purpose was to promote and introduce the short-term student exchange programs, student exchanges, short-term visits by scholars, and contract negotiations at TMU.

Outcome(s) of the Visit
  1. The University of Queensland will be visiting College of Pharmacy in May to discuss Master Program collaboration in Pharmaceutics and Biotechnology.
  2. Queensland University of Technology will be visiting the Office of Global Engagement in June to discuss further collaboration in student exchange.
  3. King Mongkut’s Institute of Technology, Ladkrabang, Thailand is discussing with College of Oral Medicine for future student exchange.
