The 16-story building will provide 380 beds, enhancing the campus environment and improving living conditions for students.

Located near the Taipei’s Xinyi District, TMU’s dormitory capacity is limited, which are insufficient to meet the housing needs of the students, leaving many to rely on off-campus accommodations. This project aligns with the Ministry of Education’s efforts to address the student housing challenges. TMU aims to provide students with a safe and comfortable living space, stimulating both academic achievement and personal development.

Since 2020, TMU has engaged student through multiple hearings to incorporate their feedback into the dormitory’s design. The new dormitory will serve as a multifunctional space that integrates living and learning needs, with areas for collaboration, study, and recreation. It also preserves the scenic Maple Lane on campus, connecting it to the existing student dormitory to create a cohesive and vibrant student community.
By addressing housing needs and enhancing campus life, TMU continues to prioritize the well-being and success of its students.
