In 2025, Taipei Medical University (TMU) continued to advance its commitment to internationalization through the TMU One World initiative, creating a welcoming and inclusive campus for students from around the world. By integrating student orientation and transition support, cultural engagement, and career development, TMU supports international students at every stage of their journey—from arrival to employment.

Before the start of the academic year, TMU organized three international student orientation sessions, including online components, reaching 169 participants. These sessions introduced campus resources and daily life in Taiwan, helping new students transition smoothly into university life.

Throughout the semester, TMU promoted deeper cultural integration through a wide range of activities. Taiwanese cultural experience activities, such as Dragon Boat Festival rice dumpling making and Mid-Autumn Festival events, introduced students to local traditions. The Asian Culture Festival further enriched campus life by showcasing cultural diversity, featuring Taiwanese cuisine alongside Vietnamese and Indonesian food and traditional dances prepared and performed by the Vietnamese and Indonesian student associations. In parallel, Mandarin language workshops and briefings overseas internship scholarship opportunities open to both international and Taiwanese students attracted broad participation and encouraged meaningful interaction across cultures.

To support students’ future career development, TMU also strengthened employment transition services. In 2025, the university hosted two major career fairs—the TMU Hosts 2025 Internship & Career Fair: Shaping the Future of Healthcare Careers and the 2025 TMU International Talent Career Fair—alongside a corporate visit and a series of job-seeking seminars covering resume writing and working & living in Taiwan. Specialized sessions on work permit requirements and labor law regulations further equipped international students with essential knowledge for entering Taiwan’s job market.

Through TMU One World, Taipei Medical University continues to build a culturally inclusive, globally connected campus—empowering international students to thrive academically, socially, and professionally in Taiwan.
