Taipei Medical University (TMU) has been recognized among Taiwan’s Top 15 universities for international enrollment capacity, according to the latest analysis of Ministry of Education data.

The ranking highlights universities demonstrating strong internationalization performance and sustained ability to attract overseas students to Taiwan’s higher education system.

For medical research universities, the ability to attract international doctoral talent reflects far more than global mobility. It serves as an important indicator of research strength, academic visibility, global engagement, and long-term scientific development capacity.

At TMU:

  • 75.7% of international students are enrolled in graduate programs
  • 371 international PhD students are currently pursuing advanced research
