TMU Unveils New Research Facilities for the College of Oral Medicine

Taipei Medical University College of Oral Medicine inaugurated the second research zone on October 1st, 2024.


Located in the Comprehensive Medical Building on the Xinyi campus, the new facilities include research centers for stem cells and digital dental technology, a precious instrument center, and a digital dentistry simulation training lab.

Dean Hsin-Chung Cheng emphasized that the new facilities represent a milestone for advancing research and education in oral medicine. The enhanced infrastructure provides students and researchers with expended research opportunities and support and positions TMU to attract top teaching and research talent.

Executive Vice President Chun-Che Shih emphasized that the establishment of this research zone addresses the growing demand for diverse and advanced research equipment in modern medical studies. It offers a robust platform for learning and research, benefiting both students and faculty while supporting TMU’s commitment to innovation in oral medicine.
