TMU’s Nursing subject was ranked fifteenth globally and first place in the Shanghai Ranking’s Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017 in the category of nursing. As nurses are a critical workforce in societies facing aging populations, TMU’s Nursing has focused on geriatric health issues. To deal with Taiwan’s aging society, the college has promoted international practices and cooperated with the national policy of “aging locally, aging successfully and aging actively.” Promoting health in senior citizens also involves management of related industries, so the college works with research and development experts on products that improve geriatric well-being. TMU’s Nursing research includes plans and strategies for healthy living, along with promoting the highest standards of clinical care and management.
