From President of Tohoku University
(TBC) Teiji Tominaga’s history with Tohoku University spans four decades and he brings to the office a wealth of experience in medicine, research and administration. An alumnus of the Tohoku University School of Medicine, Tominaga has held significant positions at the medical school including professor of neurology at the Graduate School of Medicine’s Department of Neuroscience and Sensory Organs, and deputy director at the Clinical Research Innovation and Education Center.

(TBC) At TMU, our vision is “taking medical education as the foundation, developing biomedicine for clinical application and becoming a university of innovation with social impacts.” We focus on problem-solving capabilities in education and research, pursue leading innovative R&D achievements and strong entrepreneurial spirits, and adapt changes quickly to obtain resources external in order to make TMU become a driving force behind societal and economic developments in Taiwan.
