The School of Pharmacy Master’s Program gives students an invaluable educational experience and path to meet career goals as pharmacy professionals. COURSES INTRODUCTION

Typically completed in two years, well-rounded curriculum based on coursework and research gives students a solid foundation in pharmaceutical sciences and nurtures the budding pharmacists to develop into experts. The program also requires student’s active involvement in discussion sessions with the industry professionals covering pertinent issues relating to pharmaceutical research. With a focus on collaborative research, the program imparts significant exposure of the latest pharmacy trends pertaining to medicinal chemistry, biotechnology, natural product chemistry, Chinese herbal medicine, clinical pharmacy, and pharmaceutical marketing among others.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

  • The master’s degree in Pharmacy is a two-year (four-semester) program requiring completion of 30 credits, including 14 credits of required courses.
  • A Official English Test score ex: TOEIC ≥ 550, TOEFL ITP ≥ 500, TOEFL CBT ≥ 713, TOEFL iBT ≥ 61, IELTS  ≥ 5.5, Cambridge Main Suite >=PET
  • Thesis defense

FUTURE CAREER PATH

Master’s students work hand-in-glove with expert faculty to advance skills, knowledge, and gain the confidence needed to excel in the highly competitive health care sector. The knowledge base imparted to students allows them to choose from a broad range of career options, such as patient care, research, development of pharmaceuticals, formulation development, targeted drug delivery, pharmaceutical regulatory affairs, and many more. In particular, the graduates of this school can become leading work force in the sector as medicinal chemist, natural product chemist, production chemist,  chemical analyst, clinical pharmacist, clinical immunologist, chemical information specialist, food and drug analyst, hospital administrator, public health educator, sales and marketing officer and dietitian.
