The student-centered School of Pharmacy Ph.D. Program brings together the diversified expertise of internationally recognized faculty. Best suited to highly analytic minds, this program focuses on conducting ground-breaking pharmacological research for the development of novel therapeutic drugs and clinical applications through a multidisciplinary bench-to-bedside approach.

COURSES INTRODUCTION

The School of Pharmacy Ph.D. is a rigorous extension of Masters’ level education, with courses ranging from rational drug design to clinical application to health research services covering the full breadth of pharmaceutical education. Coursework is integrated with supervised research to provide an exhaustive introduction to technology driven training, while students are free to pursue their own research topics. Some ongoing research topics include: Anticancer drug discovery, glycobiotechnology, pharmaceutical marketing & management, clinical pharmacy, advanced biotechnology, genetic engineering & protein engineering, pharmacoeconomics, genotoxic analysis, and pharmaceutical care practice.

GRADUATION REQUIREMENTS

A minimum of 30 credits, including 20 credits of required courses.
Most of the course requirement can be completed in 2 years, candidates shall satisfy the requirements list below for the Ph.D. degree,

  • One SCI/SSCI publication above IF>3.0 or two SCI/SSCI publications. Students must be first authorship and the affiliation must be “School of Pharmacy”.
  • A Official English Test score ex: TOEIC ≥ 750, TOEFL ITP ≥ 550, TOEFL CBT ≥ 213, TOEFL iBT ≥ 79, IELTS ≥ 6, Cambridge Main Suite ≥ FCE
