Establishing a well-organized system for clinical trials: Preparing nurturing environments for the last step ofbiomedical research

Clinical trials are the central heart of research bridging translational research to clinical application. To establish a good environment for physician to conduct research, Taipei Medical University unified the administration of clinical trial centers to the Joint Clinical Research Center for the centralized operation, effective management and acceleration of clinical trial operation. With all the efforts, the quality and number of clinical trials were escalating in Taipei Medical University. Not only sponsored clinical trials, TMU also put efforts in PI initiated clinical trials. We are now pushing this limit to international collaboration, especially the collaboration in East Asia Countries. With the introduction, we wish to bring more physicians from Malaysia to join us of this activities.
