The power of prevention: Aiding vulnerable communities in the fight against NCDs
The risks associated with underlying health conditions, including non-communicable diseases, have been accentuated during the pandemic, as well as the groups that carry a predisposition towards them. Prevention is considered tantamount to treatment – how can preventative measures be implemented on a wider scale to treat those most vulnerable to NCD risk factors through more robust health and community-driven networks? |
