This year, TMU highlighted its recently constructed Shuang Ho Campus, TMU BioMed Accelerator, and its technology industrialization platform. Shuang Ho Campus comprises two 17-floor buildings and TMU Shuang Ho Hospital. It serves as a pioneering Biomedical Park, seamlessly integrating a medical university, a medical center, and the biomedical industry. This unique setup provides comprehensive services for innovative development, clinical trials, market expansion, and access to international market resources.

TMU’s innovative BioMed Accelerator is focused on three key dimensions: digital health, AI, and medical devices. Leveraging TMU’s extensive clinical trial resources, the BioMed Accelerator supports start-ups in shaping their business models, fundraising, and connecting with international resources. To date, BioMed Accelerator has served 49 startups in its batches. Meanwhile, TMU’s technology industrialization platform showcased the latest creation from its research team, TMU SPARK – DeepBrain-Cognito. This innovation effectively predicts changes in dementia over a two-year span. Professor Cheng-Yu Chen, then leader of TMU SPARK, believes that this invention will significantly contribute to the advancement of anti-aging functional medicine.

TMU envisions that its experienced research teams will expedite and enhance collaboration between industry, academia, research, and healthcare. This alignment with international standards will bolster competitiveness in the future.
